Occupational Activity and Support
Our nursing home facility is committed to the concept of continued mental stimulation and we provide occupational / recreational activities. Participation will of course depend on the individual resident.
Our activities include:-
* morning devotions
*bible readings with caregiver /nurse
*Television and radio programs
* writing and art works
*board and card games activities
Support groups, church groups and other senior citizens organizations are an essential component of our social interaction activities within this facility, and we receive regular visits from these groups
Medical Care
Our nursing home facility is ideally suited for elderly clients recovering from acute medical / surgical conditions or those who simply require long term care and support. .
All residents receive free medical consultation from Dr. Greene. If for any reason Dr. Greene is not available a physician will be contracted to provide this service. In these cases an additional fee may be applicable. The facility doctor is on call 24/7 and all residents are medically examined once monthly. Additionally all residents are scheduled for a full medical evaluation including blood chemistry once per year, preferably during their birth month.
Admissions
All new admissions to our nursing home facility will require Dr. Green's approval. The following documents / information will be required.
1. Detail and complete medical report / summary
2. Listing of current medical conditions
3. Completion of resident's profile data sheet
4. Agreement to our terms of admission
5. Completion and signing of an admission agreement contract.

Staffing
Our staff consists of a Facility doctor, a facility coordinator / manager, a visiting registered nurse, a pool of nursing assistants / caregivers, a laundry and cleaning support person and a handyman / general worker.
Visiting Hours
In order to facilitate the nurses with their duties for AM and PM care, feeding and grooming of residents, visitor are required to visit their loved ones during a facility convenient time schedule.
# 10 am to 12 noon
# 6pm to 8pm
We also ask that unavoidable visits outside these hours should always follow a phone call to the facility so as to alert the nursing staff.
